See Every Animal On Your Farm At A Glance
Head to Animals to see your whole herd in one place. Nine stat cards across the top total up Active, Calves, Sick, Injured, Needs Attention, Pregnant, Milking, and Ready To Sell animals the moment you land on the page, and every animal is grouped by species underneath so a big mixed farm never turns into one long undifferentiated table. Search by name or ID, or use the filter bar — species, sex, purpose, status, health, herd, care, and age — to narrow the list down to exactly who you're looking for; on a phone the same filters slide up from the bottom instead of taking over the screen.
Add A New Animal In One Guided Form
Click Add Animal to open a single form covering everything you need to register an animal properly the first time: Basic Information (name/ID, species, breed, sex, birth date), Purpose — a multi-select of Breeding, Grow-to-Sell, Milking, Eggs and more, with Milking and Eggs only appearing when the species and sex actually support them — plus a Target Weight goal when Grow-to-Sell is selected. Record Parentage right away if the mother or father is already in your system, and use Starting Health Records to log an initial vaccination, deworming status, pregnancy, or injury without leaving the form. A Photo and any Document (registration papers, purchase receipt) can be attached at the same time — all in a popup right on the Animals page, with no separate page to load and nothing lost if you need to double-check a detail first.
Every Animal Gets Its Own Complete Profile
Click any animal to open its full Profile. A Photo, a scannable QR code, and any attached Document sit at the top, followed by Basic Information, Purpose, and Milking Status (each shown only when relevant to that animal), Parentage with its mother and father resolved automatically — even when a parent started life as a promoted calf — and a Care Status row of Vaccination, Deworming, Injury, and Overall badges so you know its condition without reading a single record. A Growth & Timeline strip runs underneath, and tabs below split Overview, Growth, Health, Offspring, and Notes into their own focused views.
Track Growth And Milk Production Automatically
The Growth tab plots every weight you've recorded on a simple line chart, so a trend is visible at a glance instead of buried in a list of numbers — and for a milking female, a dedicated Milk Production tab appears automatically to track output over time. Both tabs pull straight from records you've already logged elsewhere — an edit, a health checkup, a milk entry — so there's never a separate place to re-enter a number you've already saved once.
Keep Records Accurate As Things Change
Open Edit from the Profile or the Animals list to update any detail as circumstances change. Health Status is a simple three-way choice — Healthy, Sick, or Injured — with a note field for Sick and the injury details built right into the same field for Injured, so there's no separate card to hunt for. If a species isn't in your list yet, choose + Add New Species right from the dropdown instead of leaving the form. Change an animal's weight and a new Growth Record is logged for you automatically, timestamped so it never collides with one already saved that day — and a Photo or Document can be swapped out or removed with a single click.
Track What You're Feeding Them, Too
Livestock records don't stop at the animal — Feed Usage keeps the other half of the picture. An overview shows your Total Available Feed, flags any Low Stock Feeds even before you run out, and totals how much you've used and at what average rate, toggled by Day, Week, or Month. Logging a feeding is a quick popup that deducts straight from stock the moment you save, and a full, filterable Usage History keeps a record of exactly what was fed and when — the same discipline you're already using to track health and growth, applied to what goes into your herd.
