Running More Than One Farm On The Same Login
A complete walkthrough of managing multiple farms — creating a new one, switching between the farms you belong to, and, for Platform Administrators, stepping into any farm, suspending or restoring access, scheduling a deletion safely, and seeing the whole platform at a glance.
Start A Brand-New, Completely Separate Farm
Any Super Admin can open + Create New Farm and set up a second farm on the exact same login — its own name, address, phone, currency, and timezone. It gets its own animals, users, and records from day one, completely separate from anything in your existing farm. You're automatically made Super Admin of the new farm too, and your access to your current farm's data stays exactly as it is — creating a new farm only ever adds, it never changes what you already have.
Switch Between Your Farms In One Click
Once you belong to more than one farm, the farm name in the top bar becomes a dropdown — click it and pick Switch Farm to jump straight into any of them, with the one you're currently viewing marked. The list only ever shows farms you actually have access to, so switching can never take you somewhere you don't belong. On a phone or tablet it collapses to a small round arrow button, but everything inside works exactly the same.
Platform Admin: Step Into Any Farm When You Need To
Platform Administrator only. From Manage Farms, hit Access on any farm to view it exactly as its own Super Admin would — the top bar shows a clear "👁️ Viewing [Farm] as Super Admin" pill the whole time so there's never any doubt whose data you're looking at, and every access is logged. Exit Farm View from the same dropdown takes you straight back out.
Platform Admin: Suspend Access, Restore It Just As Fast
Platform Administrator only. Suspend on a farm's row locks out everyone except you immediately — nothing is deleted, it simply can't be accessed by its own users until you hit Activate to restore it. Handy for a farm that's fallen behind on payment, or one you need to pause for review without touching a single record.
Platform Admin: Delete A Farm — With A Built-In Safety Net
Platform Administrator only. Delete Farm doesn't delete anything right away — it suspends the farm immediately and starts a 4-hour countdown, shown live on the row. Anytime before it runs out, Cancel Deletion stops it completely and restores access, no harm done. Only once the countdown actually reaches zero is the farm and everything in it — animals, health records, sales, employees, all of it — permanently removed.
Platform Admin: See The Whole Platform At A Glance
Platform Administrator only. The top of Manage Farms rolls up totals across every farm on the platform at once — total farms, active animals, users, and sales recorded — plus two warning cards that only appear when they're relevant: farms with no animals logged yet, and farms currently counting down to deletion. Search by farm name to jump straight to the one you're looking for.
